Virginia’s Specialties
Virginia’s areas of clinical interest include anxiety, couples and relationships, life/career transitions, identity and values exploration, parenting and stress/burnout.
In her work with couples, Virginia uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples move away from cycles that create distance and disconnection and towards greater security and connection. Virginia’s work with individuals is grounded in psychodynamic theory, Control Mastery Theory, and a deep curiosity about how we are shaped by our past experiences. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices when appropriate to support clients’ growth and progress.
